My Enchanted Village

A storybook town where holidays come to life — one cottage at a time.

My Enchanted Village is a seasonal pop-up town built by the community, for the community — where donated children’s playhouses are transformed into whimsical storefronts by local artists, families, schools, and clubs. Each village is themed around a different season or story. From Halloween magic to holiday cheer to springtime wonder, every detail is designed to spark imagination, joy, and connection for our youngest neighbors.

This isn’t just a place to trick-or-treat or shop — it’s a place to slow down, play, and experience the magic of a handcrafted town made just for kids. And the best part? Every village raises funds to support local nonprofit organizations — turning creative community fun into real community impact.

Boo Hollow - Our First Village!

Boo Hollow is the very first pop-up village in the My Enchanted Village series — and it’s Halloween like you’ve never seen it before.

This isn’t your typical trick-or-treat. At Boo Hollow, kids explore a walkable town of upcycled playhouses — each one transformed into a miniature storefront by local artists, schools, clubs, and families. From spooky to silly, cheeky to downright punny, every cottage is a handcrafted experience built just for kids.

You’ll discover clever stops like Ghost Dusters (our haunted cleaning crew), I Scream (the village ice cream shop), and The Golden Wrap (an upscale boutique for fashionable mummies). Teens and tweens hand out candy from inside the cottages while little ones trick-or-treat — no coats over costumes, no dark streets, just cozy, playful Halloween magic in a neighborhood made for them.

After exploring the town, wander over to the Village Market — a festive fall fair filled with handmade crafts, spooky snacks, and charming local finds. Whether you’re shopping for autumn treasures or indulging in pumpkin-spiced goodies, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Need a break? Head to Boo Hollow Commons, where the magic slows down just enough for kids to kick a ball, toss a bean bag, or sip a juice box under the twinkle lights. With picnic tables, casual games, and plenty of space to breathe, it’s a playful pause between village exploring and market wandering.

Best of all — Boo Hollow is entirely community-built and volunteer-powered. Every cottage is decorated by local groups and families, and every corner of town is brought to life by people who believe in creating something magical for others to enjoy. From costumed volunteers handing out candy to the parents painting playhouses, this village is a true labor of love.

This is where Halloween magic meets real-world meaning — a playful event that turns creativity into community impact.

This year’s Boo Hollow supports The Women’s Adventure Club, a local nonprofit helping women improve their mental health and well-being through outdoor movement and community connection. A portion of every ticket helps fund their programs.

This is Halloween as it should be — imaginative, community-built, and full of magic that lingers long after the candy is gone.

How it All Comes Together

Boo Hollow isn’t just an event — it’s a community-built labor of love. Here’s how the magic happens:

1. Cottages Donated & Prepped with Care
It all begins with donated children’s playhouses — many of them faded, cracked, and long outgrown. Each one is power-washed, repaired, and lovingly prepped for its second life as a whimsical storefront in Boo Hollow. This step gives forgotten toys a chance to become something magical — and keeps plastic out of the landfill.

2. Sponsors Step In to Make It Possible
Local businesses, families, and community members sponsor each cottage, providing the funds needed to transform it from ordinary to enchanting. Sponsorship helps cover materials, signage, and essential event costs — and each sponsor’s name is proudly displayed in front of their cottage as part of the experience.

3. Community Members Bring the Magic

Artists, schools, clubs, families, and volunteers of all ages step up to paint, decorate, and theme each cottage. Some create storefronts that are spooky. Others go for silly, sweet, or downright clever. Together, they bring Boo Hollow to life with creativity, paintbrushes, and a whole lot of heart.

4. Youth Volunteers Make It Come Alive

On event day, local tweens and teens take center stage — dressing in costume and handing out candy from inside each cottage. They’re the friendly faces behind every tiny door, giving kids a safe, joyful trick-or-treat experience — and gaining community service hours while they’re at it.

5. Families Experience the Magic

The final result? A handcrafted town full of charm, imagination, and nostalgia — where families can slow down, laugh together, and experience Halloween as it was meant to be. From the trick-or-treat cottages to the cozy Village Market, Boo Hollow is built by the community, for the community — and every detail reflects the joy of coming together to create something special.

What is the Village Market?

Just beyond the playhouse-lined streets, you’ll find The Village Market — a festive corner of Boo Hollow where local artisans, bakers, and makers come together to share their fall and Halloween creations.

What might you find? Pumpkin-shaped sourdough loaves, handmade soaps, Halloween books for kids, cozy pet costumes, fall-scented candles, and maybe even “worms in dirt” — that beloved mix of pudding, gummy worms, and Oreo crumbles. Warm apple cider might be waiting, too.

Next to the booths, you’ll find a cozy picnic area with kid-sized tables — the perfect spot for little ones to sip, snack, and giggle together.

It’s more than a vendor area. It’s a gathering place — full of fall charm and one-of-a-kind finds.

Want to Be a Vendor?

We’re curating a small group of makers who bring a little magic to the table — from handmade crafts and costumes to spooky snacks and Storytime treasures. This is a juried market, and all booths must follow our playful, family-friendly vibe (no gore or scary imagery).

A limited number of spots are available, and proceeds benefit The Women’s Adventure Club, a nonprofit supporting women’s wellness and mental health.
